A NewsNation reporter was thrown to the ground and arrested while delivering a broadcast from an Ohio press conference about a train derailment.

Correspondent Evan Lambert was seen in video being cuffed and carried away by authorities after he was told to stop the live broadcast he was giving at the back of a gymnasium Gov. Mike DeWine was speaking on the other side of.

When Lambert continued his broadcast, the officers began shoving him and corralled him out of the room before tackling him to the floor and handcuffing him.

Lambert was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing before being released from prison later Wednesday.

Governor DeWin later voiced his outrage over the incident and issued an apology to Lambert, saying he had 'every right' to be in the room reporting and that it was 'wrong' he was arrested.

But the officers then began trying to move Lambert out of the gymnasium, with one appearing to shove the reporter.
