Amy Robach reportedly received a larger severance package than T.J. Holmes following the couple's exit from Good Morning America over their scandalous affair.

The former GMA3 co-hosts both received handsome packages, but Robach, 50, is believed to have edged her new partner.

Both TV anchors were fired by ABC bosses last month after DailyMail.com revealed the married co-anchors were having an illicit off-screen affair.

The specific details of the settlement remain a closely guarded secret, but Robach is understood to have secured a bigger payout due to her increased presenting responsibilities and longer employment history with the ABC network.

The now unemployed duo had been spending time together in LA since their exit, but are now back in New York.

An insider told Page Six: 'Amy's been at ABC a lot longer and has a much bigger contract [than T.J.].'

Robach spent over a decade at the ABC network, while Holmes, 45, joined in 2014.

She was also considered to have a greater profile within the company than her new partner, and appears on more programs.

Robach co-hosted GMA3 alongside Holmes, but also appeared on magazine show 20/20 - a gig sources told Page Six she 'worked really hard to get'.

The details of the pay-out are unknown but Page Six reported both Robach and Holmes are likely to have received what the remainder of their contracts were worth.

A Page Six source said: 'It's possible they could have gotten paid slightly more to sign an NDA — and to keep the peace.'

ABC bosses finally made a decision over the anchors' future last month - some three months after DailyMail.com first reported the affair.

It was reported that Robach and Holmes were unable to reach an agreement with the network over their roles at Good Morning America but bosses said 'several productive conversations' were had.
