A Christian woman has joined the pile-on against The Project and lashed out at the gay comedian at the centre of the backlash.
Kailtin Lees slammed Reuben Kaye labelling him a hypocrite over his X-rated gag on the Channel 10 program on Tuesday.
'I love Jesus, I love any man who can get nailed for three days straight and come back for more,' he said.
Hosts Waleed Aly and Sarah Harris were forced to issue a grovelling apology the following day while calls have continued to grow for the show to be cancelled.
Ms Lees questioned why Kaye was allowed to make a joke about religion while people couldn't make jokes at the expense of the LGBTQI community.

'And then you make a cheap, tacky sexualised joke about people's Lord and saviour, yeah Jesus Christ, bit of a big deal,' Ms Lees said in a TikTok video.
'You're allowed to do that, but we're not allowed to take the piss out of the alphabet gag at all, even though you do some pretty f***ing funny s***, to be fair.'
Ms Lees said if she had made a similar joke about the gay community she would be cancelled and her career would be over.
