Marjorie Taylor Greene hits back at Biden for laughing at her fentanyl mom story trends now
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene hit back at President Joe Biden for 'making fun' of her after she highlighted the Congressional testimony of a mother who lost two of her sons to fentanyl overdoses.
Greene told DailyMail.com during a gaggle with the press at CPAC Friday that she often ignores Biden's comments. 'But I think what is important is, from my understanding, he's laughing at her,' Greene said.
'She's a mother and it does't matter when her children died,' the Georgia Republican also offered.
In a tweet, Greene had held the Biden administration responsible for the deaths of Congressional witness Rebecca Kiessling's two sons - who had died during former President Donald Trump's tenure.
'I've read she was very specific recently, saying that a mom - a poor mother who lost two kids to fentanyl, that - that I killed her sons,' Biden said of Greene during his appearance Wednesday night at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference. 'Well, the interesting thing is that the fentanyl they took came during the last administration,' Biden said with a chuckle.

On Thursday, the White House defended Biden's laugh with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying that he 'expressed sympathy' to Kiessling - who was a witness at Tuesday's House Homeland Security Committee and spoke emotionally about losing her sons Caleb and Kyler.
She's since asked for an apology from the president.
