In the shocking case of 100-year-old Amalie G., who police suspect was killed by her 'black sheep' grandson on Monday morning in Hamburg, the chief public prosecutor has revealed grisly details of the killing.
German newspaper BILD learned that police believe she was decapitated her with an axe, with 37-year-old Artur B. the prime suspect.
Chief Public Prosecutor Liddy Oechtering told BILD: 'According to the preliminary autopsy result, it can be assumed that a cervical cord severing caused by sharp and blunt force was the cause of death. The suspected crime is an axe found at the crime scene.'
