A former star of The Office, Rainn Wilson, said there is anti-Christian bias in Hollywood after episode 8 of The Last Of Us had a Bible-reading character turn into a 'horrific villain'.

In the episode, main character Ellie comes across a group of survivors led by David (portrayed by Scott Shepherd) a 'cult-leading cannibal who keeps quoting the Bible', according to the Daily Wire.

The former The Office star Rainn Wilson wrote about the character on Twitter: 'I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood.

The tweet comes in the middle of the controversy surrounding this year's Oscars, as many criticised the awards for not being 'diverse enough' and the Best Actress winner Jamie Lee Curtis urged the Academy to consider genderless acting categories.
