Britain's most notorious prisoner Charles Bronson says he had a series of extraordinary meetings with actor Tom Hardy before the latter played him in 2009 movie.
The career criminal joked how he thought Hardy was too thin to play him, only to be stunned weeks later when the actor beefed up with the help of a personal trainer.
The anecdote was one of several Bronson, 70, described from HMP Wakefield to friend Steve Wraith, who uploaded the conversations to Youtube.
Elsewhere, Bronson also shared his hopes to star in the reboot of Big Brother if he is freed, joking he may take hostages in there. He also laughed about the prospect of making a sex tape with two women in Dave Courtney's Sex Museum, The Daily Mirror reports.
Speaking about his meeting with the actor, Bronson said: 'It was mental. [Hardy] just finished playing Bill Sykes in Oliver and when he came to visit me with the producer Danny Hansford I don't think he weighed 11-and-a-half stone, you know.

'My visits there were behind bars, like in a cage and as he walked in, I said: “F*** me, Tom, you're having a bubble ain't you mate? There's nothing of you!"
'He said: “Don't worry about it. I'm getting a personal trainer over from Hollywood and I'll be bigger than you in a couple of months."'
'When he came to see me a couple of months later he was bigger than me. He was massive.
'I put my arms through the bars and felt his arms and his shoulders. It was like f***ing concrete mate.'
Bronson revealed that prison authorities later put a stop to the visits, which were deemed to have a commercial factor.
Bronson is currently is begging the parole board to approve his release after nearly 50 years in jail.
He was first locked up for armed robbery in 1974, but during his time inside he has taken hostages in 10 prison sieges and attacked at least 20 prison officers.
Eventually in 1999 he was handed a life sentence for kidnapping a prison art teacher.
