Dozens of migrants were intercepted by Border Force crossing the Channel in small boats today - the largest group since the government unveiled its controversial Illegal Migration Bill was announced last week.
At least 100 people including women and children were brought ashore on two Border Force vessels at the harbour at the Port of Dover in Kent on Friday morning.
The majority were brought in on large catamaran Volunteer while a smaller group could be seen on board the Defender.
They were escorted up the gangway at the immigration processing centre at the former jetfoil terminal within the docks complex.
It comes after 51 people were brought into the port in the early evening last Saturday.
