Yesterday, on Saturday, March 18, at 2.33pm South Yorkshire Police were called to Winifred Street, in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his twenties with wounds to his back and leg.
They discovered that a firearm was used.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital by land ambulance, where he remains in critical condition.
