A family were left shocked after they found three giant wasp nests the size of 'space hoppers' hanging in the attic of their new home.
Eve Ault, 25, and her family moved into the Macclesfield home around five months ago, but did not enter the attic until recently after finding a new entrance.
They were left in disbelief when they poked their head into the tight roof space, only to find three giant wasp nests lurking on the wooden beams.
Ms Ault claimed the nests were at least the size of a child's space hopper - or roughly 70cm wide - and that they would cost hundreds of pounds to remove.
Ms Ault, an online business owner, said: 'I live with my family in the family home. Just the other week we went into the attic for the first time - we hadn't been in yet.
