'Scum' and 'racist' was scrawled across corflutes displaying Dr Kylie von Muenster's face.
Dr Von Muenster is the Liberal candidate for Coogee who is going up against incumbent Labor MP Marjorie O'Neill.
Liberal MLC Chris Rath shared his disgust at the vandalised posters.
'Absolutely disgraceful behaviour in Coogee today,' he wrote on Twitter.
'Everyone has the right to display electoral material and all volunteers and candidates deserve to be treated with respect.'
Dr Von Muenster described it as an
