A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on the M4 motorway after police caught him driving an uninsured car towing a caravan.

The schoolboy was driving the Saab with three friends in the passenger seats when police spotted them on the M4 in Wiltshire. 

He was arrested when they realised he was under age and did not have a driving licence.

The boy, from County Clare, Ireland, appeared before magistrates in Swindon, Wiltshire, where he admitted several driving offences.
