Nearly 75 percent of respondents in a new poll said they believed former President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign wouldn't be impacted or would be helped if he gets indicted in the Stormy Daniels hush-money probe.
A Trafalgar Group survey of likely U.S. voters that was conducted last week found that 37.5 percent believed an indictment would have no effect, while another 36.8 percent thought an indictment would give the former president a political boost.
Just 25.7 percent said it would hurt Trump's campaign.
Those polled who identified themselves as Democrats were more likely to believe an indictment- which would be a historic first - would hurt Trump's chances of retaking the White House.
Republicans were more likely to believe that an indictment would ultimately help the ex-president.
