A manhunt continues for a night stalker who has allegedly attempted burglaries across a coastal area after he was spotted lurking on someone's porch late at night.
Victorian police have release new images taken on March 20 of an offender they believe has been involved in a string of alleged attempted burglaries targeting homes along the state's Surf Coast.
The 'Geelong stalker' has been the subject of over a dozen sightings between January 29 and March 7 across Geelong, Surf Coast, Werribee, Torquay and other coastal suburbs.
His ability to evade capture has created fear among residents across the widespread area, with the alleged thief wearing identical clothes across a number of sightings.
Divisional Response Unit detectives released CCTV images of the man on March 20 and pleaded for help in trying to identify him, with stills showing him for the first time without the surgical mask he has traditionally worn.
