The Wrexham fan whose girlfriend was jokingly told by Blake Lively to dump him in a video insists that they are still together despite the actress's cheeky quip, MailOnline can exclusively reveal.
Sam Neale asked the Gossip Girl star to record a message for his girlfriend Stephanie Cleaver at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday.
But in a hilarious video moment that went viral, Ms Lively said: 'Hey Stephanie! You should leave him' - before covering her hand over her mouth and leaving those around him in fits of giggles.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mr Neale, 21, has relived the moment he spoke to the star - and candidly admitted that he did not 'really know' who Ms Lively was before Sunday. He also revealed that his first date with Stephanie, 19, was at a football match with his grandfather.
'I wasn't sure when I'd get another chance to speak to Blake again, so I sprinted to the other end of the stadium where Blake was meeting fans,' Mr Neale told MailOnline today.

'I was on the other end of the stand and as soon as I saw her coming down I thought ''I'm at least going to try and get a video''.
'There were hundreds there waiting for a photo. Eventually I was near enough to get a chance to speak to her. And when she said it, I couldn't believe it… I thought it was hilarious.'
Mr Neale asked Ms Lively for a message for Miss Cleaver, his girlfriend of 18 months, who is training to become a primary school teacher.
