Husband is due to appear in court after being charged with murdering his wife trends now
A husband has appeared in court accused of murdering his wife whose body was found in a river 12 miles from her home.
Nicholas Metson, 27, was before Lincoln Magistrates Court this afternoon.
He was charged with murder after divers recovered the body of Holly Bramley, 26, from Bassingham, 12 miles south of Lincoln, on Monday.
Police said a murder investigation was launched 'following the report of a concern for the welfare' of a woman on Sunday. Officers were later seen searching a garage and bin storage area at the Shuttleworth House high rise flats in Lincoln where it is understood Holly live with Mr Metson.
A second man arrested on suspicion of murder, also aged 27, remains in custody, Lincs police said.
