Six people - including three children - are dead after transgender female shooter Audrey Hale, 28, opened fire at Covenant Presbyterian School in Nashville.
Hale shot and killed nine-year-olds Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney. Scruggs was the daughter of Chad Scruggs, the pastor at the affiliated presbyterian church.
Substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, 61, head of school Dr. Katherine Koonce, 60, and custodian Mike Hill, 61, were also killed.
Nashville police chief John Drake said police are still investigating what drove the killer - who they named as Audrey Hale, 28 - to open fire on Monday morning at The Covenant School, where she used to be a student, before being shot dead by police.
He said in an interview with NBC News that investigators believe the killer had 'some resentment for having to go to that school'.

The glass front doors, which were locked, are shattered as Hale opens fire.
Pieces of glass fall to the floor as most of the two double doors is broken byt he gunfire.
