House Speaker Kevin McCarthy wrote a letter to President Biden knocking him for being 'missing in action' on debt limit negotiations and demanded his team set up a meeting between the two by the end of the week.

McCarthy and Biden met nearly two months ago in their first highly anticipated meeting that saw few deliverables, other than the pair agreeing to sit down again and discuss an agreement to raise the nation's $31.4 trillion borrowing limit.

'With each passing day, I am incredibly concerned that you are putting an already fragile economy in jeopardy by insisting upon your extreme position of refusing to negotiate any meaningful changes,' McCarthy wrote in the letter.
