Hugh Grant jokes he missed the days of hooking up with co-stars trends now

Hugh Grant has joked that he misses the good old days when actors would fall in love with each other and hook up with their co-stars.

The British actor, 62, said that instead of flirting and drinking together, co-stars now just go home and 'look on Twitter' after a long day on set.

Speaking on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, he said: 'Films are so weird now.

'They are weird because, in the old days, by the end of the second week, you were all getting drunk in the evening and having dinner and falling in love with each other and all of that.

'All of that stopped because of telephones. Everyone goes home and looks at Twitter. It’s so sad.'

Grant has been gracing the big screen as the leading man in films since the 1990s - starring in a number of romantic films, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Love Actually.
