Couple make desperate plea to find their pet toy cavoodle after it disappeared ... trends now
A couple who had their house burgled in broad daylight are pleading for people to help find their dog who 'just got scared and ran away' from the invaders.
Josh O'Brien called into Neil MItchell's show on Melbourne radio station 3AW on Thursday to issue a desperate request for help after their apricot toy cavoodle was seen by neighbours roaming Carroll Street in Melbourne's west on Wednesday.
According to Mr O'Brien, the burglars broke into his Deer Park house roughly between 1-1:30 in the afternoon while he and his partner, Maggie Amber, were working, stealing around $6,000 worth of valuables and sentimental treasures.
When Ms Amber returned to the home at 8pm she immediately called him and explained that their jewelry, passports and their dog Ron were gone.
Though the house was 'tipped upside down', the couple's main priority is locating the missing pet.
