A cybersecurity expert unknowingly rented his Arizona home to global superstar Rihanna during Super Bowl week for $500,000, covering two years of his mortgage.
Spyro Malaspinas, 48, of Paradise Valley, leased his $7.3million five-bedroom, five-bathroom home to Rihanna for six days prior to the Super Bowl, but he didn't have a clue the Super Bowl headliner was the one offering him a price he couldn't pass up.
'My daughter was absolutely thrilled,' Malaspinas told the Wall Street Journal. 'The last thing I am is a real estate baron. My pride’s not that big. I don’t mind moving out for $500,000 a week.'
The 6,400-square-foot San Miguel Avenue home is conveniently located 30 minutes away from State Farm Stadium - where the Super Bowl was held on February 12 - and provides stunning amenities, including a large in-ground pool, a seating area with a fireplace attached to the pool, and plenty of space both in and outdoors for entertaining.
