Meghan Markle looked deliriously happy as she headed home with Prince Harry after watching the Los Angeles Lakers in a private box last night.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were swept from the Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA by their bodyguards in their Range Rover after seeing LeBron James and his team.

The couple had taken their Archewell staff to watch the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies in game four of the NBA playoffs from a VIP suite than can cost up to $15,000.

Meghan and Harry were even spotted in the crowd and appeared on the jumbotron. But despite her husband's enthusiasm, the giggling former Suits star declined a kiss in front of 20,000 fans including Kim Kardashian, Adam Sandler and Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

The royal couple, who will not be going to the Coronation together next month, were all smiles in a box at the Crypto.com Arena, where they appeared on the jumbotron.

Thousands began clapping and cheering, encouraging them to kiss.

Harry then appeared to lean in for a smooch but his wife, wearing a $1,400 pink linen suit and heels, laughed and grabbed his arm instead of bowing to the crowd. Harry then pulled a comical grimace.

But despite the light-hearted snub, Meghan and Harry did enjoy a snuggle as the Lakers won the game 117 to 111, taking a 3-1 lead in the first-round playoffs against the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic at around the same time this morning, Harry's brother Prince William joined veterans at dawn to lay a wreath for Anzac Day at the Australia Memorial at Hyde Park Corner in London.

Meghan sat next to her husband Harry and Rick Genow, an LA power lawyer and adviser to the couple since Megxit.

To Genow's right was Meghan's business manager Andrew Meyer, known as Hollywood's top money manager, whose clients have included Ellen Pompeo, Anna Kendrick, Adam Driver, Kathryn Hahn and Alexander Skarsgård.

Meyer works hand in glove with Genow, whose Beverley Hills firm has represented clients ranging from Quentin Tarantino and Christian Bale to the Duchess of Sussex.

The royal couple were in a VIP box with Archewell employees who swilled wine, which was on offer for between £44 ($55) for a bottle of the house white, £64 ($79) for rosé and £385-a-bottle ($480) for a Californian red, one of Meghan's preferred tipples.

Some cheered the Lakers on with beers, which cost between £36 ($45) and £50 ($62) for a six-pack of lagers including Stella Artois and Bud Light.

Guests including their most trusted advisers and senior staff, who the royal couple brought in after they emigrated to the US, enjoyed a selection of 'fan favourites' at $54.95-a-head, such as popcorn, pretzels, a salsa and guacamole sampler and mini buffalo chicken sandwiches.

There was also an array of vegan options available for Meghan, who is known to avoid meat during the week, including plant-based kofta, meat-free chicken tenders and a 'house made chip and dip'.

It is not known if Meghan and Harry paid for the box, or how much. Suites can cost between $1,200 to $3,500, but the same boxes are being advertised for up to $15,685 if the Lakers play the Grizzlies on Friday.

Miranda Barbot, former president Barack Obama's PR wonder woman who now works for Archewell in comms, as well as Shamya Williams and Nishika Kumble from their TV and audio teams, were also in the suite with their bosses.

More staff including Chanel Pysnik and Wesley Yin also enjoyed the night out.

It came hours after a beaming Meghan broke cover for the first time since it emerged she will not attend King Charles' Coronation - as her PR team insisted she has 'moved on' and is 'going about her life in the present'.

Introducing her photographer friend Misan Harriman in a video ahead of his Ted Talk, the Duchess of Sussex said she was 'thrilled' to welcome the Nigerian-born Briton on stage where the audience heard him speak about experience capturing the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.

Meghan and Harry are very close to Mr Harriman and his wife Camilla Holmstroem, and the royal couple asked him to photograph them for their second pregnancy announcement, in a black-and-white picture in which they lie barefoot together under the trees in their California garden.

Mr Harriman, who worked in finance before becoming a photographer in 2016, was also asked to take pictures at Lilibet's first birthday party at Frogmore Cottage during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last June.

In the video introduction, Meghan said: 'Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph. I have experienced his talent first hand as he has captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family.'

Referencing his activism and his work capturing the Black Lives Matter protests, she said: 'His lens has captured everything from events that have changed the world, moments that we all desperately needed to see along with some of the planet's most recognisable faces.

'But this was not always his path, and you might be surprised to hear not who, but what, he credits for his success.'
