Gang of six deny plotting to murder another young man with Chris Kaba days ... trends now
Six men today denied plotting with the late Chris Kaba to murder another young man just days before the father-to-be was killed by a police marksman.
Mr Kaba, 24, died after he was shot by a Met Police firearms officer in Streatham Hill, southwest London, on 5 September 2022.
Hamza Adbi, 23, Connel Bamgboye, 28, Shemiah Bell, 31, Simeon Glasgow, 30, Marcus Pottinger, 30 and Carl Tagoe, 28, denied conspiring together with Mr Kaba to murder Brendon Malutshi in Hackney Road, Shoreditch, on 30 August.
The six appeared at the Old Bailey today via video links from HMP Belmarsh, Thameside and Wandsworth.
They also denied possession of a firearm, a loaded handgun, with intent to endanger life.
