A Texas mother is accused of tying up her son by his seat belt and dragging him down a highway to punish him because he insulted her and refused to apologize.
It is unclear how old the boy is, but footage shows his mother Marion Stade, 61, tying him to the side of the car, and then forcing him to run alongside it.
Stade was arrested by Wichita County deputies on a warrant from Archer County after the May 2nd incident and charged with child endangerment. She was released the next day on $100,000 bond, KFDX reported.
An unidentified person witnessed the alleged abuse while they were driving along State Highway 94 and immediately alerted the authorities.
When a deputy first pulled Stade over, she denied what took place. Stade told the officer that she had a 'verbal altercation,' with her son after he had insulted her and that she was 'waiting on the child to apologize.'
