Robert De Niro, 79, and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45, are spotted heading to ... trends now

Robert de Niro and his girlfriend have been spotted popping into a fertility clinic in New York City - just days after having his seventh child.

The actor, 79, was seen dotting on Tiffany Chen, 45, as they headed into an NYU Langone fertility clinic in Midtown East on Friday.

The Goodfellas actor announced the recent birth of his seventh child earlier this week during an interview with ET Canada, who asked him what it was like to be a father-of-six, which he corrected was now seven.

The multimillionaire cut a causal figure on Friday, wearing a gray zip-up jacket, black gym shorts and matching black shoes. He accessorized the look with a gray face mask and a baseball hat.

He brought some light reading material with him to the clinic, as he had a newspaper tucked up under his arm, and a small bottle of Poland Springs water.

Chen also chose comfort, as she too was seen wearing black leggings and a black zip-up jacket. Much like her boyfriend, she wore sunglasses and a face mask and tied her long tresses in a low ponytail.

They were later seen arriving back at their Upper East Side pad hand-in-hand. 

Chen was also seen hanging out with a friend as the pair took Gia for a stroll in an expensive stroller. After arriving back home, the mother carefully cradled her newborn as she took her back inside. 

Yesterday, de Niro confirmed he welcomed a daughter with his partner Tiffany Chen, also revealing her name - Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro.

She was born on Thursday, April 6, weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces, he told CBS Mornings' host Gayle King via a phone call.

'This baby is planned,' Robert said, adding that they both wanted the baby and are 'over the moon.'

'She was brought here by love,' Gayle said Robert told her in their phone call.

The iconic actor shocked the world when he revealed he had 'just had a baby' in an interview earlier this week - after Tiffany, who is believed to be 45 - was seen with a baby bump in March.

Gayle revealed that she had interviewed Robert on Saturday with Sebastian Maniscalco about his new movie About My Father.

During the interview, she asked him a question if his kids ever said he was embarrassing him, to which he responded 'All the time.'

Gayle called him on Wednesday after the news about his newborn baby was revealed, asking him why he did not tell her at time, to which he said it didn't come up in the interview.

The ET Canada reporter who later asked him about his six children - to which he corrected them and said 'seven,' Robert said to Gayle: 'In that moment, I didn't want to deny this baby.'

His newborn seventh child was seen for the first time, as doting mom Tiffany went for a walk with her baby in NYC on Wednesday.

The baby was dressed in a pink onesie and swaddled in a white blanket as Tiffany lifted the baby out of a stroller.
