A man has reportedly killed himself and his ex-partner after a home-made bomb in a shoe box exploded outside a children's play area in northern Spain.
Two bodies were discovered in a holiday resort in Orio, close to the Basque city of San Sebastian, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The incident is being treated as a case of sexist violence, according to local media.
Detectives believe the man, found on the ground by a bench, was carrying a bomb in a shoe box.
The woman being described as his ex-partner was found dead on the bench with injuries including head wounds.
