Jade Jagger has been arrested in Ibiza for allegedly assaulting a police officer when they were trying to mediate an altercation in a restaurant, according to one of Spain's biggest newspapers.
Jade, the daughter of Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger and his first wife Bianca, was dining with a male friend at a restaurant in Ibiza's old town on Wednesday night when they allegedly became aggressive and violent towards the waiting staff.
The British jewellery designer's male friend, 31, who has not been named, then allegedly started shouting, insulting and threatening staff inside the restaurant, located on Sa Creu street, before the National Police were called to the scene, reports Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
The National Police arrived at the restaurant and tried to diffuse the situation by telling Jade's friend to stop shouting. But the man allegedly launched an attack on the police officers, shoving and hitting them.
Jade, 51, then allegedly came out of the restaurant and shouted at the officers before allegedly assaulting a policewoman by pushing and scratching her.

The 51-year-old was reportedly restrained by police officers before being taken away in a police vehicle.
Jade and her friend are still under arrest as of 12pm local time, reports Cronica Balaer. It is understood they will appear in court later today.
Police in Ibiza confirmed to MailOnline that there was an altercation in a restaurant in Ibiza and a 31-year-old man and a woman were detained after insulting and assaulting police officers.

A well-placed source said: 'Police arrested two people last night, a man and a woman, in Ibiza.
'Around 9pm there was a police intervention as a result of a call from a restaurant about a man they said was behaving violently with customers and workers. The man had gone by the time police arrived.
'People at the restaurant including staff and a manager and a couple of customers told officers he had been aggressive towards them and they had refused to serve him any more drinks and he left.
'A man in the street then approached the police patrol cars outside and told them there was a man threatening passers-by.
