The Metropolitan Police are investigating a disturbing social media trend after a group of young men stormed into a random home without consent before a panicked father pleaded with them to leave.

One TikTok user, who has since deleted his account, received widespread backlash on social media after posting a video of himself entering a family home uninvited with a group of friends.

The video begins with him and two other friends posing to the camera, saying: 'Walking into random houses, let's go.'

In since-deleted footage, the group then walk through a black gate, ignoring a woman in the front garden and letting themselves into the stunning London home.

Despite the woman shouting, 'Excuse me what are you doing?', the boys walk through the ajar door as the woman nervously calls to the other person inside the home.
