Megyn Kelly slammed a New York City hospital for placing a pregnant physician's assistant on leave after she was falsely accused of stealing a black man's Citibike.
'My God, the s*** poured down on this pregnant woman just for trying to actually claim the bike she paid for is out of hand,' Kelly exclaimed on her Tuesday broadcast.
The TV host showed the footage of last week's viral incident and then criticized activists and social media users for smearing the white woman as 'CitiBike Karen' and for comparing her to Emmett Till's accuser.
Sarah Comrie, a 36-year-old physician's assistant at Bellevue hospital, has gone into hiding after she reportedly received 'death threats' following footage of her tussling with a man over a Citibike outside of Bellevue Hospital at the end of a shift last week.
The hospital has since released a statement revealing that Comrie has been placed on leave and will remain on leave pending further review. It's unclear the status of that review.

A roughly 90-second video of the incident was posted on TikTok and Twitter and showed Comrie arguing with the man outside of Bellevue over the weekend.
'We are aware of the video involving a health care provider off duty and away from the hospital campus. The incident in the video is disturbing,' a spokesperson for NYC Health + Hospitals, the hospital system where Comrie works, told CBS News in the aftermath.
'The provider is currently out on leave and will remain on leave pending a review. As a health system we are committed to providing an environment for our patients and staff that is free from discrimination of any kind.'
On her show Tuesday, Kelly scoffed at the statement.
'What discrimination?' Kelly asked. 'They are accusing their own staffer of being racist in that encounter.'
She pointed out that the incident even prompted civil rights attorney Ben Crump to tweet and then delete that tweet about the ordeal after her lawyer threatened defamation lawsuits against those who defamed her.
Crump has not apologized for his tweet that read: 'This is unacceptable!'
'A white woman was caught on camera attempting to STEAL a Citi Bike from a young Black man in NYC. She grossly tried to weaponize her tears to paint this man as a threat. This is EXACTLY the type of behavior that has endangered so many Black men in the past!'
