This is the heartbreaking moment an animal rescuer discovered two roosters 'disgracefully' dumped in sealed plastic bags dumped on her driveway.
Snowy Mountains local and founder of Smart Animal Sanctuary in NSW Lorene Cross discovered the two bags at the front of the shelter's driveway.
Ms Cross initially thought the two bags had fallen off a rubbish trailer but soon discovered two roosters inside the sealed bags.
The former veterinarian nurse from New Zealand shared a video of the discovery to TikTok on Wednesday with the caption: 'Not the best way to start our morning. Be kind to animals.'
The video shows Ms Cross carrying the plastic bags away from the roadside before cutting the tie-straps.

'Oh my goodness, that's ruthless,' Ms Cross says.
