A jilted ex-girlfriend wrecked a football club's bar and threatened staff after the team's boss ended their relationship, a court has heard.
Laura Evenden, 45, caused £5,300 worth of damage when she targeted the bar at non-league Chatham Town last June. She is understood to have been furious that chairman and manager Kevin Hake had dumped her in early 2022.
Evenden smashed the bar, burst a balloon display, lobbed fruit from a fridge, pushed a TV and hurled paint cans on the floor, caused a flood by turning on the beer taps, and stabbed a club sign, sofa and cushions, The Sun reported.
