Acquaintances of murdered Cash App founder Bob Lee have said he 'threw money around like confetti' and 'always had gorgeous women around him'.

The comments were made by those claiming to be a part of 'The Lifestyle' - a San Francisco swingers scene in which Lee was allegedly immersed before his death.

'It only took one look to know that he was rich and powerful,' one member, who went by Meg, told The Messenger. 'He threw money around like confetti.'

Another member, who was identified only as a male tech executive, told the publication that Lee always had women around him and that 'a lot of gorgeous women liked him a lot'.

Bob Lee, 43, was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife in the early hours of April 3. Prosecutors have charged Nima Momeni, 38, with the killing - he is a brother of Khazar Elyassnia, 37, who was with Lee the day he died and involved in the parties.

'It's all anyone is talking about,' said Meg, who supposedly proved she was part of the scene by sharing group texts and social media messages with The Messenger.

'He was known, and really everyone seemed to like him very much,' she added. 'So for this to happen... it really blows my mind.'

'It's a vibe,' the person claiming to be a tech executive told the publication. 'It's not like there's a membership list. It's casual.'

'It's all about open relationships, sexual freedom and not a lot of judgment,' he added. 'It sounds shocking to some people, but it's really not. It's just a lot of warm people who are enjoying their lives.'

The details of the exclusive San Francisco social scene were first revealed by The Wall Street Journal.
