Big W has become the latest Australian retail giant to phase out reusable plastic shopping bags.
The retailer's 15-cent and larger 45-cent reusable plastic shopping bags will be taken off the shelves nationwide and replaced with the paper version.
The decision aims to remove over 480 tonnes of plastic from circulation annually.
