Some conservatives are calling for a boycott of Chick-fil-A after news the company had hired a Vice President of 'diversity, equity, inclusion' resurfaced and went viral.

America's favorite fast-food chain, which has historically been praised by conservatives for it's strong religious roots and values, is the next company to receive backlash for their effort to be more 'inclusive.'

Chick-fil-A previously shared the announcement of Erick McReynolds as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI), who has been with the company since 2020, but the news suddenly resurfaced and spread online, sparking fears the company has 'gone woke'.

Chick-fil-A had originally released a statement in 2021 to speak about its company mission to care for customers and employees alike, a purpose they summarize as 'Better at Together.'

'We understand that the path toward Better at Together looks different for every business,' the statement says.
