The View's notoriously woke host Sunny Hostin claimed on Tuesday that white women who continue to support Donald Trump for the presidency want to 'protect the patriarchy.'

She even seemed to compare them to those who stood by their husbands who owned slaves during a discussion of a recent Washington Post article about female voters in Pennsylvania who said they will still vote for the former president even after he was found liable of battery and defamation.

'I think that women, white women in particular, want to protect this patriarchy here because it's to their benefit,' the controversial co-host said.

'They want to make sure their husbands do well. They want to make sure their sons do well. They want to make sure their children do well. They want to make sure they do well,' Hostin explained.

She added that 'most of the women in some of these studies are married, white women' who 'fall in line with what their husbands are doing, how their husbands are voting.'
