In late March, Mika Westwolf, 22, was struck and killed by a car while walking home along a highway on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana.

The suspected driver of the car is a 28-year-old woman named Sunny White, whose two children named Aryan and Nation were allegedly in the car at the time. White is also facing two charges relating to the accusation that she broke into a home and illegally took her two children one week after the fatal crash.

In the early hours of the morning on March 31, Westwolf was walking toward traffic on the shoulder of the highway when a Cadillac Escalade traveling north on the highway struck and killed her.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report from the Montana Highway Patrol. The family of the victim have said they are underwhelmed by the law enforcement response to the fatal incident and believe authorities don't 'care and just wanted an open-and-shut case.'

The fatal crash report listed the driver as an unnamed 28-year-old woman from Butte, Montana, who had two children in the car, a boy aged 2, and a girl aged 4. No one in the car was injured. Alcohol, drugs and speed were not listed on the report as suspected factors in the crash.

A death certificate for Westwolf was filed on April 11 and listed the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was listed as an accident.

Westwolf's family claimed that she was killed be a driver who 'did not even brake or try to avoid hitting her.'

White is not currently in custody, nor is she facing criminal charges in connection to Westwolf's death. Lake County records show that, on the same day Westwolf died, White was cited with two counts of child criminal endangerment.

Both counts were dismissed without prejudice pending crime lab results, which means charges may be brought against White in the future.

One week after the fatal crash on April 7, White broke into a residence in Butte and took her two children, whose names were revealed to be Aryan and Nation. Last month, White pleaded not guilty to charges related to the incident. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 27.

The children's ages and genders, as well as White's age and gender matched the information listed in Westwolf's fatal crash report.

The Montana Human Rights Network said in a statement that the names of White's children 'clearly indicate her support for white nationalist ideals.'
