A teen is fighting for life after he was knifed during a fight on a bus, two weeks after another Melbourne teen was stabbed to death at a bus stop.
Two boys were on board a bus in Preston in the city's north-east around 4.15pm on Friday when they became embroiled in an altercation.
The victim, aged in his late teens, suffered wounds to his upper body and was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He remains in a critical condition.
The other teen got off the bus and fled the scene on foot.
It's understood the bus was travelling along Murray Road heading towards Brunswick at the time of the altercation, according to witnesses.
