A Tesla feature that allows app users to see everything from the driver's route, location and what they're listening to has been labelled a 'stalker's dream car'.

Ryan Cowan, revealed that he can see exactly where his wife is, what speed she is going and what her in-car entertainment is on her trip home.

'My wife is driving home, and the Tesla app shows me the exact speed that she's doing and the podcast that she's listening to,' he said.

'It even shows me the exact navigation path that the car is taking her on as well as the battery percentage she will be on when she gets home.'

Social media users have called out the creepy feature which allows Tesla App (pictured) users to see the car's in-car system details and track the route the driver is on

By accessing the app, Ryan can also control the internal features of the car being driven by his wife, including what is playing and the internal temperature.

He also shows that he can access the navigation to see where she is coming from, the route she is taking, the time she is expected to arrive at her destination, and the exact point in the trip she is on.

However many Aussies have called out the feature as being unnerving and creepy.

'A stalker's dream car,' one person commented.

'Ultimate stalking unit,' a second added.

'Absolutely no privacy,' a third wrote.

While a fourth said: 'Wait until the gov taps into all of that info'.

'Buying my husband a Tesla,' another joked.
