Environmental protesters have launched yet another traffic slow-down march during rush hour this morning in London, police have said.
The Met Police said this morning that officers were at the scene of a Just Stop Oil protest, where activists were slow walking in the road at Upper Street in Islington, central London.
The force said at 8.25am on Twitter: 'Police are on scene at a Just Stop Oil #protest, slow walking in the road at Upper Street, Islington. They were notified at 08.17hrs and were on the scene immediately.
'They are assessing the situation. Updates to follow.'
The slow-down march in Islington appears to have progressed through the borough, with police tweeting that protesters were at Holloway Road, by Highbury and Islington Station and later, St Paul's Road.

At 8.46am, the force tweeted: 'Police are on the scene at a Just Stop Oil #protest, slow walking in the road at Holloway Road (northbound), Islington. They were notified at 08.17hrs and were on the scene immediately.'
They added 8.52am: 'Police are on the scene at a Just Stop Oil #protest, slow walking in St Paul's Road, Islington. They were notified at 08.17hrs and arrived at 08.41hrs.'
Just Stop Oil protesters have also been pictured this morning doing a slowdown March in Hammersmith, causing irritated motorists to start beeping their horns.
