Bookings for Chicago hotels hit record occupancy thanks to a boost from Taylor Swift's Eras tour last weekend.
The city saw hotels 97 percent full with an average of 44,383 hotel rooms occupied each night Swift played her concerts.
The all-time high for Chicago's hotels was recorded by Choose Chicago, the city’s marketing organization, who also credited a medical convention that coincided with Swift's visit to the city.
'Taylor Swift’s sold-out concerts, layered on top of one of our largest annual conventions, combined to become the most successful weekend for Chicago hotels in recent history,' Michael Jacobson, president of the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association, said in a statement.
Adding that the record numbers demonstrate 'indisputable evidence of the importance of major events and conventions to the city’s economy.'

Chicago is also hosting this year's James Beard Awards, the so-called 'Oscars of the food world.'
The ceremony was held at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago on Monday night.
