A six-year-old boy believed to have been left at home on his own has escaped a terrifying house fire after Good Samaritans rushed to his aid.
Emergency services were called to Rodley Avenue in Penrith in Sydney's west shortly before 6:15pm on Saturday and found a two-storey townhouse engulfed in flames.
A neighbour walking past the home saw the fire and assisted the boy to get out of the burning
