Bill Barr had some choice words for Donald Trump after his former boss spent a week unloading on him for saying he's 'toast' if the indictment proves true.
The former Attorney General said Trump dismissed GOP claims that Trump is a 'victim' of a targeted-Justice Department campaign against him - calling the ex-president a 'narcissist.'
'He will always put his own interests and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country's interests,' Barr said in a brutal assessment during an interview with CBS Face the Nation on Sunday morning. 'There's no question about it. This is a perfect example of that.'
'He's like a nine-year-old — a defiant nine-year-old kid who's always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table, defying his parents to stop him from doing it,' he continued. 'It's a means of self-assertion and exerting his dominance over other people.'
