President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will not be supporting Hunter Biden in person during his first court appearance on Wednesday.

The first couple will remain 'working on behalf of the American people' rather than show-up for Hunter, 52, as he pleads guilty to two misdemeanor charges of failure to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodged multiple questions on Tuesday related to the president's recovering addict son, claiming he's a 'private citizen,' including regarding his upcoming court appearance and the fact that one person who bought his art is a Democratic donor.

She also would not comment on reports that Hunter's once-close business associate Devon Archer is speaking with Republican lawmakers behind closed doors on Monday related to the president's son and his Ukrainian business dealings.

She did, however, say that President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden would not be attending Hunter's court appearance on Wednesday where he is expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax fraud charges ¿ a 'sweetheart deal' that will see him avoid a felony charge and jail time

'I don't have any comment on this,' she brushed off, giving the appearance of perplexity when the name Devon Archer was brought up by a reporter.

'I'm not going to get into anything that's related to Hunter Biden,' she said toward the start of the briefing on Tuesday. 'He's a private citizen. I'd refer you to his representatives.'

As new evidence continuously emerges over Hunter's foreign business deals and his father's knowledge and involvement – the White House has changed its tune on defending the President.
