OTHER allegations Hunter Biden faces as prosecutors warn he could be charged ... trends now

When Hunter Biden's 'sweetheart' plea deal dramatically collapsed on Wednesday, he was warned he could be charged with more crimes.

President Joe Biden's scandal-hit 53-year-old son was set to accept an agreement with federal prosecutors that Republicans called a slap on the wrist.

Originally, Hunter was supposed to plead guilty to failing to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018 and lying about his drug addiction on a firearms form in order to avoid jail.

But when the U.S. Attorneys said the deal did not shield him from further prosecution, Hunter's defense team ordered it be torn up.

With the stunning turn of events, the Department of Justice (DOJ) opened the door for Hunter to be charged for failing to register as a foreign agent over his shady deals with China and Ukraine, which Republicans say involve his father.

Hunter's lawyers were not pleased with the revelation that the deal was not a blanket exemption for the President's son regarding other cases against him involving business conducted with China and Ukraine.

Republicans are also building their case that the DOJ is improperly providing political cover for the Biden family after bombshell IRS and FBI whistleblower testimony revealed how Hunter was given 'special treatment' during the criminal investigation into tax and gun crimes.

The whistleblowers claim federal government leadership stopped felony charges for the first son and turned a blind eye to over $17 million accepted by the Biden family from foreigners.

In addition, Republicans released an internal FBI document showing Joe and Hunter 'coerced' a Burisma CEO into giving them $10 million in exchange for firing a Ukrainian prosecutor.

DailyMail.com breaks down the controversies and cases Hunter is still facing, charges that could be levied against him and the 'special treatment' he is receiving as the President's son.

EX-HUNTER ASSOCIATE DEVON ARCHER WILL TELL CONGRESS ABOUT UKRAINIAN BUSINESS

As the House Oversight panel continues its probe into Hunter, the panel with meet with Hunter's former business associate Devon Archer on Monday.

The closed-door testimony with GOP members of the panel next week will see Archer share details about the president's son's business dealings in Ukraine – and comes after a June subpoena for him to appear for a deposition.

Archer, the panel says, 'played a significant role in the Biden family's business deals abroad, including but not limited to China, Russia, and Ukraine.'

On at least two dozen occasions, Hunter put his father, who was vice president at the time, on speakerphone during shady business calls, Archer has previously claimed.

According to Archer, President Biden was not always aware that he was on speakerphone.

The testimony from Archer will likely help build the Oversight's case against the President's son as it conducts its investigation into potential foreign influence campaigns.

BIDEN FAMILY MAY HAVE ACCEPTED $40M FROM FOREIGN ENTITIES

Investigators are also looking into just how much the Biden family was enriched from foreign business deals and whether the President used his influence to secure these lucrative deals.

Members of the Biden family may have accepted more than $40 million from foreign nationals in return for forming favorable policy decisions based on bank records, Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., claims.

This includes members of the First Family accepting payments from China, Ukraine and Romania.

'This was organized crime - there's no other way to define it,' Comer alleged in an interview last month.

His committee identified 'six specific policy decisions' where the GOP lawmakers concluded that President Biden was 'compromised.'

Comer said then that he was confident his investigation would find proof of 'at least $17 million' from overseas payments, but that he would not be surprised if 'transactions exceed $40 million plus.'

He also said his panel obtained additional banking statements and suspicious activity reports from the Treasury Department showing 'more bank accounts, more shell companies and more Bidens being involved in an alleged policy pedaling scheme.'

The committee is expected to release those bank statements in coming weeks.

$10M PAYOUT TO JOE AND HUNTER BY UKRAINIAN ENERGY COMPANY

FBI document details that the father-son duo forced Ukrainian oil company Burisma LLC to fork over $10 million in exchange for influence in getting a senior prosecutor fired.

A newly released FD-1023 document includes bombshell claims that Joe Biden and his son forced the company's CEO to pay them each $5 million in exchange for the then-Vice President's influence in getting a senior prosecutor fired in Ukraine.

According to the 2015 conversation between a confidential source and Burisma CFO Vadim Pojarski, Hunter was hired onto the company's board to 'protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems.'

Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky told the source: 'It costs 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another Biden.'

Zlochevsky added that, although Hunter 'was stupid,' and his (Zlochevsky's) dog was smarter, he was needed on the board 'so everything will be okay.'

According to the blockbuster FD-1023 form - some of which is redacted - the Confidential Human Source (CHS) met with the high-ranking Burisma executives between 2015 and 2016.

It's not clear whether any of the claims in the document are true or not.
