Iconic Aussie beer brand Tooheys is relaunching one of its popular beers after it was pulled from shelves almost a decade ago.
The popular Tooheys Extra Dry Platinum beer, known by beer-loving fans as 'Tooheys Plat', has made a comeback after years of 'overwhelming' customer demand.
The beer was first launched in 2006 but was removed from shelves between 2011 and 2012.
After a decade, Tooheys has relaunched its fan favourite, with the beer available in major bottle shops in NSW and hitting shelves in Queensland from September 25.
The beer has been relaunched with a new look and can format but will have the same clean and crisp taste, keeping its original 6.5 per cent ABV.

Head of Marketing at Core Beer of Lion Australia Chris Allan told Daily Mail Australia the only change to Tooheys Extra Dry Platinum is its look and feel.
'Tooheys Extra Dry Platinum has really come back in a big way and one big part was redesigning the packaging and the look and feel of the whole brand,' Mr Allan said.
'The biggest change consumers are really looking for in beers are different formats or different offerings.
'Instead of doing a glass bottle, we've decided to put it in an all-black can, which is a little bit different to what it was like over 10 years ago.'
The beer is available in a 330ml can
