A mother-of-two has cut her household bills by £200 a year by ditching her oven and opting for an air fryer. 

Bryony Lewis, from Fareham, Hampshire, said she is saving even more by reducing the amount of time she has the heating on for. 

The 39-year-old lives with her husband, seven year old son and eight year old daughter, and with the cost of living crisis, began to think of ways to cut back on bills. 

The self-employed business owner said the rise in energy prices prompted her to look at which appliances used the most energy in her household.
