Grim footage has captured the moment a young woman's foot bent in half while on a popular ride.
Pippa Sutherland, from Melbourne, went to the Slingshot Surfers Paradise attraction, on the Gold Coast, last month.
Ms Sutherland and her friend were securely strapped into the chairs when they were slowly being brought down by the operator.
She shared footage to her Tiktok showing the moment her left foot begins to bend after it became caught on the stopper below.
A panicked Ms Sutherland is heard saying 'my foot' as it bends at a dangerous angle.

Recognising that Ms Sutherland is in distress, her friend turns the other way and calls out to one of the operators saying, 'Her foot!'
Ms Sutherland then begins to scream that her foot is stuck as the operators continue to lower the ride forward.
'My foot's stuck,' she said.
Her foot then becomes unstuck just as it appears it is about to snap in half.
'Ow,' Ms Sutherland screamed as the ride came to a standstill.
Ms Sutherland suffered a sprain to her ankle before she was taken to hospital for treatment.
