Former President Donald Trump opened his Houston rally on Thursday by boasting about the success of the single 'Justice for All,' his collaboration with a group of men imprisoned for their role in the January 6 Capitol attack.
The ex-president came onstage and saluted the flag as the J6 Prison Choir's song played - it's a mash-up of the Star-Spangled Banner and a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, with the 'beautiful words,' as he put it, performed by Trump.
Trump said he dubbed the group the 'J6 hostages,' calling what happened to the men 'a shame.'
'And when that came out it went to the No. 1 song,' Trump bragged. 'It was beating everybody, it beat Taylor Swift, it beat Miley Cyrus, who was No. 1 and 2, they were No. 1 and 2, we knocked them off for a long time. That song was out there for a long time.'
Justice for All topped Billboard's digital song sales chart for one week in March, meaning that it was the most downloaded for purchase song.
