Police are investigating a woman who was pictured holding a sign reading 'please keep the world clean' next to an image of a stick man throwing an Israeli flag into a bin.
The young woman was seen with the vile placard next to the Cenotaph on Whitehall during a pro-Palestinian protest.
The Metropolitan Police said last night: 'We are aware of this post and are making further enquiries. An investigation is under way.'
Similar 'keep the world clean' signs have been seen at other protests, including one late last month in Warsaw, Poland.
Marie Anderson, a Norwegian medical student, was suspended after a photo of her holding the sign emerged on Twitter.
