A homeless home intruder was captured on video speaking to an 89-year-old man in his living room moments before allegedly murdering him.
Chuong Pham was found dead in his Garden Groove, Los Angeles, home after Mario Brancato, 26, broke in on Wednesday.
Police found Brancato being held down on the ground by Pham's neighbors at the scene. He was arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail.
Pham's son Khanh was alerted to the situation when he looked at their Ring Security Camera and saw the stranger yelling at his father and rummaging through the apartment.
The elderly man's other son, Khanh, headed to the apartment and found Pham lying in a pool of blood on the floor with his hands tied with an electrical cord.

Pham's family has said they do not know the intruder.
'That's a question I want to know. Where is this guy coming from? What is he doing here? Why did he kill the old man, who is sick? There's nothing here in the house,' Khan told CBS News.
Security footage shows Pham wearing what appears to be a neck brace during his interaction with the intruder.
